I was looking at mosers site and was curious from your experience what big rear bearing choice is best? They offer a big ford and a big mopar which is the strongest for a 35 spline custom axle? Also which would I use for a 40 spline d60 custom axle? Which has the most common bolt pattern for aftermarket discs?

I'm not positive, but I think that the large Ford, new style bolt pattern would be the best.

I used the Torino style that takes a set 20 bearing. I have Dutchman 1.5"/35sp axles. There 57.00/pr The ford motor sport 11" disc kit (M2300-G) is a bolt on with the torino ends.

I HAVE A 60 WITH THE TORINO ENDS.....
ALSO THE FORD EXPLORER DISC KIT WITH THE E BRAKE INSIDE OF THE DISC...
EITHER FORD BIF BEARING ENDS HAVE A BIG BRAKE SELECTION .....JUST DEPENDS ON WICH SET YOU MATCH UP..
YOU CAN PICK UP A DISC KIT FOR WELL UNDER 500...EVEN WILWOOD DISCS ARE LIKE 450$

NOT SURE ABOUT THE 40 SPLINE SHAFTS...I KNOW THEY DONT MAKE A LOCKER FOR THEM ...

Thanks the 35 spline question was for Tankota and I have the 40 spline spool. I acctually got a d60 for free and when I opened it up there were Richmond 4.88s and a Strange 40 spline spool. I think for free I will pay the extra 100. bucks for the 40 spline axles. It works out perfect because I was planning a 4.88 gear swap anyway.

I did my own disc brakes on my rear FF60, and my bro Jay did his own disc brakes on his rear SF44. Its pretty simple.

Tankota I thought you knew John bought the TRM d60 kit and we patterned the brackets for the Monte or 70s caddy with the e brake I believe they are the same bracket.
