Here are the pics that I said I would post in the "how does everyone get it to fit??" post. The springs used are from a mid 80's F-150 two-wheel drive. Not all of the welds are pretty but they are effective, I hope.

Only three leaf packs? Combine that with a long spring and that's a recipe for serious axle wrap. I'd put a wrap bar on it if you haven't already. I'd also chop off the extra "thigh gouger" portion of those front spring mounts. What length are those springs and what's the pin offset (if any)?

Its kinda weird cause I thought there would be lots of axle wrap too but it isn't too bad. I am thinking of putting some full length add a leafs on since full of gear it sags too much. The overall length of the springs is about 56-inches with the pin at about 24-inches in from one end. For the "thigh gouger" portion I have some gussets cut out for extra strength that I haven't put on yet.

hey i like the front spring hangers. do like you said and add te gussets and then cap the ends of the hangers (square tube). they will work like skids with them angled like that.

question. why did you outboard your rear springs?

The first set of hangers for the front that I made were boxed in for skids I just have not had time to make this set boxed in yet. I outboarded the rear to make it match the front. I thought it would make it a little more stable since I still am driving it to the trails. Once I have a trailer things will probably change again.
