Can anyone tell me what the bore and stroke of a 1.3 is vs. the 1.6 ? Havent a clue myself.

Great info ! Thx, Does anybody know connecting rod lengths between the 2 motors ? Is there any good parts that can be interchanged between these motors ? like forged stuff or fancy valves ? Someones gotta be muckin around with these things. :D

Hey, I just noticed there's no torque listed for the 1300. Hmmm, maybe its not an oversight;)

Look closely and you'll see 45kw, hmmm, how many ft lbs is that ? lol

Nope, 45Kw equals 60HP - doesn't translate into torque.

Ask Gary at petroworks about swapping parts, I think the swift bottom end has more/stronger journals and better crank, and he puts a 16v block on top with a ?swift intake....

What about heavier valve springs and stainless valves ? We have ourselves a supercharger and a nitrous kit here :shaking:

I think the heavier valve springs are a good idea with the components you are talking about. You will also need dish top forged pistons and forged connecting rods. The swift bottom end has a forged crank and rods and bigger caps so it will handle more rpm. I dont think you will need the swift stuff as long as you arent turning rpm above 7500 to 8000. If you are staying below that amount of rpm the forged parts I mentioned earlier should do just fine. If you need any help locating any parts just e-mail.

Im thinkin it would be kool to use a 1.6L bottom end cuz of the longer stroke with some forged stuff but i dont know what stuff will work. How long are the connecting rods in a Swift compared to a 1.6 ? And do they MAKE stainless valves for Suzuki or am i adapting parts from another engine ?

Ill have to see if I can find some stainless valves. The stroke from the 1.6 will be beneficial, but you will probably need to throw out any idea of using swift parts in one. If I remember correctly, I can get forged full floater pistons .020, .030, .040, .060 over and rods for the 1.6.

So im assuming the swift connecting rods wont go in the 1.6 ? Wrong pin size ? Shorter rod ? Longer ?

That's a 1.6/16 with 153 KW, or...

205 HP!

What about a stud kit for a 1.6L/1.3L ?

BTW, undersquare motors (1600) generally don't rev too well.
