I having trouble blowing my AC Harrison (GM) pump in my OBA.

I have an inline oiler on the filtered intake, and a seperator on the pressure side.

How MUCH oil does it take to keep these pumps from siezing?

I'm thinking I don't have my oiler turned up enough and it's not injecting enough oil into the pump to keep it for siezing. I can run the pump for about 1 or 2 months and then it siezes. Until it does, it works fine, filling my 4 gal tank in about 20 seconds to 120 psi.

Anyone help?

thanks
Tim.

what kind of oil are you using? I just put a harrison on my jeep, I lost the clutch on the import one that I had run for years with no problems. I have thought about running a slick 50 type oil thru it.

When you say "Harrison" are you referring to the big GM 8 style compressor?

I've been running a combo of compressor oil and some duralube through it. I have the new one in now and it's running fine. I've also turned the oiler up a bit, but I might just put another filter in after the tank and before my ARB just in case.

I don't have the oiler set up on mine yet, so I just use a sqeeze bottle into the intake. I usually use almost the whole 2 ounce bottle every time i air up. Thats with about 3-4 ounces in the compressor to start with. I use a mix of 10-30 and Prolong, so far, so good. I just need to devise a better oiling system, cause these compressors kick ass otherwise. I can fill up all 4 of my 39.5s in about the time it akes most Yorks to fill up two tires.
