Just looking for OPINIONS from everyone who has wheeled at the Hammers. What is the favore tire type and size? Anyone notice any specific benifits to a type of tire when wheeling there?? Hope to get some good ideas! Thanks everyone! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Talk to Desert Toy, he is the resident expert, I think he runs TSL SX's.

I use the ones that are almost flat on the bottom <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">.

What's wrong with my 235/75R-15's. Seriously, you can do Sledge with 33-9.50's but 35 and up make things a lot easier.

I ran the hammers with 35x12.50 SSR's.

Just be sure to have a good spare or two - I know I was glad I had 2 spares as the trails seemed to eat sidewalls for a afternoon snack. And not only my SSR's - BFG's and Thompson's got sidewall slashes too.
