I live in NC but have family in Tulsa and Joplin Mo. I'm always looking for new places to wheel. I thought it might be nice to visit some relatives and get some wheelin in as well.

I've heard of Disney but don't know much about it. How much time could I expect to spend and what is the terrain like(mostly rocks, mud etc?)Are there other off road areas within a couple of hundred miles? I'd like to get in at least 5 days of wheeling to make hauling the heap worth while. This trip would not take place until next year but I'd like to have an itinerary planned before the trip rolls around.

Thanks for any info.

You can do all of major stuff at disney in a day. Mostly rock, with some trails.
IT'S WORTH IT!!!!

Seymore Mo is only about 20 miles east of springfield. (SMORR.NET)
IT'S WORTH IT TOO!

You could make 2 days out of Disney, but big stuff, 1 day easy enough. SMORR is probably 2 days from what I've heard. Bout the only other stuff would be as far as Clayton, which is a good 3 hours from here, in Tulsa, but there is a solid 2-3 days there, and worth every minute to get there and spend the time there!

Good info guys, thanks. Sounds like I could make a nice trip out of the three places. I'll let the family know and start planning. We're planning a Moab trip next spring so it may be a fall trip to OK. I'd like to wheel with some local guys when it rolls around.
Thanks again.
John

Drop a line, As soon as I get motor going, I'll be willing for about anything if I'm available from work. I got a lot of wheelin to get caught up on!

Yeah the only other play would be Cass, Ar., I would say 1-2 Days of the "GOOD" stuff, but days of forest trails. Clayton has a lot of good wheeling. I've heard about some trails in Poteau, Oklahoma too, but I've never ran em.

just pull up you tube,, disney 4x4 or disney jeeps,,, clayton 4x4, they have a few good you tube stuff that will give you a good idea what down their,, Disney is good for a 1 1/2 to 2 day, it has lots of obstacles you can play on.
Clayton is wide open trails, you have very extreme trails, and just little trail you can dink around on, there is 3-4 different 'parks' down there, Green acres, Frelings, and another that just opened up , and then the state park also , that has some good stuff on it also,,,
Id you got the time, do them both,
