i just aquired a 88 samurai. i'm planning a 4.3,turbo 350,
toy tcase, and toy axles. has anyone done this? if so how did
you set the steering. i hate doin things twice so i figured i would ask first.pics would be nice. tried the search and only got info on the 4.3 swap nothing on steering. thanks for any info in advance.

as a matter of fact,thats the same set up i have. i switched to yota IFS gearbox so i can have power steering....and to keep the steering shaft off the hedder.its not a hard swap....but it is as hard as you make it. a few other guys have the 4.3 in their zukis and like them,,its a good choice

seabass has this setup or at least real close. just put crossover steering on the toy axle. i'd use the saginaw pump and box as well.

I have done it to 3 sammys and done it differant every time.
Used an ifs toy steering box outside of frame.Used the yoke from trans to u-joint to flange from late model mustang redrilled flange on t-case. left t-case in stock position.used radiators from a volvo,a v6 4runner and a monza. All of them ran great. Exhaust from an astro van. Good luck
