I am certain that one of you guys has the information I searching for and would appreciate any help. Search is turning up nothing:rolleyes:
I am looking for a place to purchase a clear fuel cell- not black plastic or aluminum?
Where can I get the best price on a char-lynn orbital steering valve?
Who makes the bead protection ring for the hummv beadlocks?- I am tired of smashing the outer rim to crap.

Thanks for the help

Don't know of any material that are up to that task, clear and plastic, but they do make fuel cells with visible sight tubes or mechanical gauges only. You could go glass but it wouldn't be trail worthy. The problem with clear objects that have solvent like structure is that material like lexan and other poly carbonate disolves this material.

For charlyn valve try looking at a forklift dealer or bone yard...

For hummer rims, PM Daniel on this board or he may chime in to protect the inner bead you might try welding something flat to the rim lip but after the magnesium starts to oxidize those lips on the inner portion of the beadlock are impossible to remove....let me know if this helps.......

I Second the vote for Station (Sean) on the Hydro stuff...most knowledgable and helpful guy you could meet, and unbeatable prices. Definately go with him - it's nice to buy from someone who can clearly explain load reaction vs load sensing valves etc.

Daniel, could you post a pic of the beadlocks you got in. Are they the Rubber full size insert?

Thank
Tim

Well,
Thanks for the input so far. Maybe now that everyone has returned from the Indiana event I can get some more input. If I can't find the hummer rim cover plates I have seen I will just make some of them myself.

Thanks again
