If they stand by their word, it can only be good. In their statements they work for the clarity of the lake while still providing access for recreation. Lets find out how to apply for the money they collect and apply for some funds for working on the Rubicon trail on that end. If they are truly working as they say they would be willing to give some money for trail improvement. If thats the case true i will put one of those plates on everything i own.

I think someone definately has to do a lot more in depth research on this before we get any because they might use the money for closing Rubicon-McKinney road on the grounds that it is hurting the clarity of the lake and hindering recreation on the Lake....
Seems like too much of a gray area to me to be true....Though I hope it is...

I know the area well. I own a cabin in North Shore and I'm a member of the Tahoe Yacht Club. The TYC is having it's own problems with the anti recreation "League to Save Lake Tahoe." There trying to remove all the vintage power boats on the lake. After flying there "Keep Tahoe Blue" sticker on my DD for years, I found out there the wrong side to support! The league has received a bunch of money (~30K) in past years from TYC and then they turn around and bite the hand that fed them for years.:mad:
