Well today i got my parts to tie the cage into the frame tacked in place w/bushings(1/4" rubber) just need to full weld it . They go from the frame to the nerf/rock sliderz and the cage ties into that. Just went ahead and cut holes in the floorboards to clear and make easier attachment to the supports. this was for the front main hoop the rear tie ins will be done later. Right now I'm concerned w/how i'm going to tie the stock main hoop into the frame. The stock body mount seems to be in the way of a direct connection to the frame(79 cj5). anybody have pics of how they attached the cage to the frame in the middle on a cj5 w/the body mount in the way. I'll try and get pics soon to better show my problem.
