I wanted to have a true flatbelly skid, but i'm having clearance issues with my pulleys and the electrics fans.

Whats the best way to combat this?

-Motor mount lift?
-Cut rad support and move the rad away?
-Just deal with not having a flat belly?

Here's some pics to show what the deal is

Cut grille and do custom rad mount awy from engine.Or switch to a pusher fan mounted in front of rad.

Thats what i was thinking,

i'm going to be pulling the stroker out since it started smoking....

Would raising the motor an inch or two make a big difference in clearance?

I had the same issues with my YJ. I made 2" engine spacers and it fixed my issues. It also helps your rear drive shaft issues.

Do you have any pics of the spacers you used?

I have some round aluminum stock that might work.

1" body lift, 1" motor lift, built skid to hang down about 1.5" from frame rails

Smooth is more important than flat.
