I've got a 79 Ford D60 with the steering arm on top of the drivers knuckle. I cut the arm off but still cant get my histeering arms to work. Anyone know where I can get just one of those caps. This is the 4 bolt cap that holds the spring on top of the kingpin Thanks

If you need one I have one, just pay shipping. It is a Chevy unit but I am sure they are the same..

You can buy the cap from NAPA but they will most likely have to order it in.

Thats how I bumped into the post Via a search.

I needed caps for some steerign arms that dont have caps and require the GM Caps.

I just called today

$9.83 GM part no. 0047-1750 Upper kingpin cover (http://www.differentials.com) 1-800-510-0950 chris EXT.110

I havent priced around so dont know if that cheep or not, but it will work for what I need!

Ill trade my factory arm for a GM sheet metal cap!:D

Yeah, I was like WTF when I saw my old screen name up there from over a year ago. Notice when you are searching, the old threads have the date on them.
