98 durango abs light is on. tried to have the code read, unable to read code, no power to the abs pin

Rear wheel speed sensor on the differential is very commonly the culprit.

very, very common. I don't know if that would cause no power to the ABS pin though. I might be looking at a fuse or a computer in that case. If you have a scope the RWSS is pretty easy to test.... an analogue meter may do the trick as well. it should be a sharp square wave, I'm not sure what the spec on its variance is though.
