Aloha from Hi. I have a mostly 83 cj7. the bigest question I have is if I should go lower than 4.10's on the ring and pinions. I am not concerned with top speed since you can only go 50 here. but with the 33's on the sand here I need more torque to the wheels. I will be trading my 5 4 banger with a 258 soon so I will have a little more power but the sand here gets very soft at times. I also will be moving back to Pa. this next year and love to go mudding....Yes I will be bringing big blue with me. would never sell it. any sudjestions on a good low ratio would be great. My suggestion would be 4.88. They'll work well with your 4 cylinder for now and won't hurt once a bigger engine is present. I live in Florida and my 4.88's work well in sand (with a 4-banger and 36's). My .02 <IMG SRC="smilies/beer.gif" border="0">
