I've seen all the threads that say to use Chevy flat top knuckles, but I found a great deal on some Ford Flat tops complete with arms. Will those work with a Scout D44 front? I don't have them in front of me, so I obviously can't look myself. I know the knuckle will "fit" on the Inner C, but will I need special shafts/spindles/etc? Is there a combination I can use to make them work?

Ford knuckles only have 5 bolts holding the spindles on, scouts have 8 and everything else has 6. So as long as you are planning on running Ford spindles/hubs/brakes/stubs then you should be fine.

Ford also had 6

As long as the parts are what you say the are, the ball joints will bolt into each other.

76-79 Ford F250 knuckles

Chuck is right, you'll be stuck using F250 parts and thus 8 on 6.5" wheel bolt pattern. No way around this one and still be safe.
