Just heard of a rescue In Cohasset being dispatched.

The call came out as a "non ambulatory" person stuck in six feet of snow in a "SUV" for 4 days. Schetchy details from CHP (meaning cell phone report) saying the reporting party found this guy and "took him food" 2 days ago. Then went back in today and he was still there.

They're calling for snow mobiles, dozers and a snow cat right now.

(If this is best suited in chit-chat, move it on over)

They didn't say what kind of truck it was. should be on the news at 11.

The RP met the CDF chief at the towers where they stop plowing. The chief cancled the fire response due to accessibility (including the dozer. Anyone know how dozers do in deep snow?) sounds like they are going to use SAR with snow mobiles to get to this guy.

Rockyoat- yeah, I'm wondering if I should get dressed today...

When you listen to a police radio when working I stay far away from them when I'm home.

A couple friends were up there Sunday and also offered to pull him out and help get him down the hill. He refused there help to get out. He told them he was staying down in Chico but was getting harrased by the local PD. He is an old diabetic man with one leg looking for a place to die. He calls himself "fire". Atleast thats the name he gave. They helped dig out a spot for his little generator and wheelchair, gave him some food and water and left him there. Its kinda hard to help someone that doesn't want to be helped.
Just waiting to see when S&R forces him off the hill for his own safety.
