is there any other places there aside from Byrd's? I know some who have gone out there, but Im not sure if it was Byrd's they went to, or another not so known spot.

Byrd's is the only private park in that area.

There are many miles of national forest trails in the Cass area...

Be careful in The National Forest around Byrd's. Like most places these days they love writing tickets for being someplace your not supposed to be. Even though the closed trails ARE NOT clearly marked!

Byrds is it, Nice place to wheel also a nice place to camp and canoe. The park is a little different as Byrds really does not have any rules and they do not seem care what you do as long as you pay and sign a release. Some people do not like this system as they feel more comfortable being policed or need for somebody to hold their hand. The trails are marked but Byrds does not like to give maps out for some strange reason.

I've been fortunate enough to hang out twice at Byrd's. Each time they gave me a map without asking. Maybe I caught them on a "happy day?"

I like Byrd's cause your really never very far from the truck or camp. The trails across the road are a blast too. We'll be there this coming Saturday.

If I do any wheeling before Rocktoberfest, I'm going back to Green Acres at Clayton to settle some scores, and hopefully not create any new ones!

It's a good place to spend a weekend, They have about 20 trails, rock garden and some trenches to play in.

There are 10 or so big tire trails and you can do night runs.

They have camping, a little store on site and as of last weekend they sell beer and wine.

It's right on the Mulberry river and some people do a wheeling/float weekend...

Was that you in the white TJ?

I think we met up with you at the hill climb and you followed us to pure hell and schooled us on the take out to the left.

I was the black YJ running the new Rockers, along with Mike in his cruiser on 46's...

We got a kick out of watching you on the hill climb, also enjoyed taking you up the upper part of the waterfall and watching you launch up that ledge...

Yeah that was me. We had a blast. Thanks for showing us around. I been to Byrd's a half dozen times and I ran 5 or 6 trails Saturday that I didn't even know was there. Give me a yell next time you go. The guy I was with has a 82 cj with 60/70 combo we just got finished building. He is dying to try it out. We love to beat the heck out of em!
