first specs 95 yj 4.0 ax15 all stock for now. Kit kj04504bk.

1.)ok now that the lift is on I am having a hard time sifting into sec gear.

2.)The jeep seems, dose have titter steering . Like the steering shaft is not lined up with the steering box .

3.)Ok so i did have some spare part but I lost thow dam paper thing that have pictures on theme. There was a piece that has five holes in it. It is flat and that about it.

I have looked on the net for instruction but no luck for the yj . I found them for the tj . CAN YOU HELP PLEAS:(

i have done 2 body lifts on 2 different YJ's (87, 94). don't recall any part with five holes in it.....got any pics?

you will probably have to remove the shifter BOOT and cut some of the floor/tunnel to clear the shifter so that the tranny will go into 2nd gear better. i had to "clearance" both of my floors also. make sure that is the only gear that the shifter is hitting the body, then put the boot back on.

never had any steering issues with my body lifts.

I'm not sure how different the shifter linkage between the YJ and the TJ but that flat piece is a drop bracket on the TJ version. If they're the same then once you install that piece to the shifter, you should have an easier time shifting in and out of 4wd. it might look similar to this

That part is for the 4wd shifter not the transmission shifter, Like Monster stated the shifter is hitting the tub and will need clearance. The only thing that could be affected by a body lift is the steering shaft alignment to the steering box.
