: How do I hook this amp up to a single Bazooka?

Pardon my ignorance, but I don't know much about car audio. Got an unpowered Bazooka I'd like to hook up to this amp.

Only two wires can go into the sub, what's with all this "bridgable" stuff and four-channels on the amp? Obviously the sub will be mono, but how do I patch both sides in?

Thanks!

That amp is 4 channels which can be bridged (Combining the power of two channels to 1 output) to 2 channels. If the amp puts out 50 watt/channel, then by bridging the channels, you have 100 watts "bridged". So you might have 4 channe's @ 50 watts/ea or 2 channels @ 100 watts/ea
The amp probably won't handle bridging 4 channels to 1 so my recommendation is to hook your + and - wires to the ch1-ch2 bridged output, and leave the ch3-ch4 unused.
Just as long as you are only running 1 bazooka sub to it and that the sub in not powered!

brians right. make SURE it isn't a powered sub. the compounded watts would be like a lightning strike

So I need to remove the two wires going to the bridged ch3 and ch4, and just use the two already hooked up to ch1 and ch2. But, I suspect this would only give me half of the stereo sound, so should I take the RCA imput cable currently on channel 3, and move it to channel 2? That way I'd have inputs on 1 and 2, and a 1&2 bridged output.
Maybe?

If I'm understanding this correctly, I could run the bass tube bridged off 1 and 2, and still run a pair of regular speakers off unbridged 3 and 4 right?

from the pic it looks as if the 3-4 bridge is a single speaker wire(looks like they are only split for an inch or so to ease the hook up) so i would assume the 1-2 bridge is a single speaker wire also(+,-) you will be fine hooking the 1-2 bridge to the bass tube. with a single sub stereo really isn't important.

that answer was for the first question. you will be fine running ch 1-2 bridged and 3-4 seperate. make sure you have sufficient airflow. heat is a killer.

Dude, don't worry about the tunes, get that front solid axle installed and work on the stereo later!

Daily driver, had to take out that huge twin 12" sub box that filled the rear end! Too much thump for me.

8" b-tube is the ticket.
