where the tube with the bolt meets the upper receiver, the weld cracked there, so you cannot pull the lever down to torque the rollers out of their slots on the bolt. you cannot unlock it unless you kick it.
is there anyone here who can repair these....who will RETURN my rifle?
CALL THE GUN SMITH!!!!! <calll the gun smithhh!!>:D

Can you send out just the bolt/carrier/whatever, or will you have to give them the entire rifle? Never looked at an HK/cetme flavor rifle up close...
If you don't need to ship the whole thing (and therefore don't need an FFL), I can handle it as long as you pay shipping both ways.
Or if you're really scared, send it to kwrangln and have him TIG it. He has a vague idea how to work one of those. Lemme go PM him and make sure he bends you over on labor. :D

1. Clean the paint and area to be welded.
2. Get a 1/2 inch copper repair sleeve for copper pipe from a plumbing store, some all thread, nuts and washers and make a tool. The repair sleeve is the perfect diameter and will fit inside the cocking tube. Search for my G3 build thread to see a pic of it. This is will act as a heat sink and prevent burn through.
3. Check bolt gap and whatever size feeler gauge it is cut a circular disk out of that gauge and double tape it to the end of the bolt carrier part that slides in the cocking tube and lock bolt carrier into battery.
4. Push cocking tube down into receiver and make sure the cocking handle assembly is bottomed out against the bolt carrier. You will not be able to see it bottomed out but make sure it is. This is very important if you want to be able to cock the gun and not destroyed the cocking tube when the bolt slams forward. Also make sure the cocking tube is rotated to where the cocking handle is comfortable to use.
5. Spot weld where the cocking tube and the receiver meet.
6. Take the bolt carrier out and take the gauge taped off the end.
7. Place the heat sink tool down the receiver and into the cocking tube. Finish welding.
8. Place bolt carrier back in and make sure it's easy to cock.
9. clean welds and repaint.
You can do all the prep work then take it to a local welding shop and have it TIGed. You can have it MIGed by a buddy but TIG will be better.
Sending it back to Century is always an option.
If you mail it to someone out of state, they must have a FFL or gunsmith license, or go through a FFL.
