hey cruser dude... why dont you go get a p.o. box in Summit co. somewhere. no emmisions up there. or mesa co. lots of places in Co. that dont test emmisions!

Might be wrong, but if they are using a sniffer test you should be home free...............that LT1 will run way cleaner than any carbed motor of '75 vintage. I'm  about the issue you face in Colorado.............my '79K5 with a TPI406 went through Oregon's emissions like the motor wasn't running.............that clean.

The sniffer should work fine, but i'm told they do a visual on Fuel Restrictor, Air Pump, and Cats. Everything the 75 FJ40 had originaly. The Inspector also said i'll need to have the Check engine light working, which doesn't make sence, because the cruiser never had a check engine light. Any opinion?

what about getting a pink slip for an older emision free landcruiser? sure it may not be the most honest method, but then again how many parts on your truck are really '75 anyways? get an older pink-cheap and easy
