Ok, I am in NEED of a hydro assist. Kelly can't steer the rig to well without one. Im gonna fire up the ole Visa for one (since another deal appears to have fell through <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> ) and need to know who has the best price on one, and can get it to me by Wednesday. My Cruiser starts it's journey to NM tomorrow. *If* I get a rock ram, I will be installing it in NM when I get there. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

Maybe you should look up some places in NM that you can walk in and buy it. With the airline thing going on, I don't know if you can get it shipped in time. Better to pick it up somewhere close to the competion.

Where does "TheLakeRat" live? Texas isn't it? Maybe he can make you one up with the same box your running and you could swap them. He only wants $495. Then a core shouldn't be that much. He rebuilds them in the process.

I got my RockRam from Sam's Offroad.
Nothing but problems with them and AGR from supplying all the parts and supplying parts that worked out of the box.

All is well now but it was a bit of a PITA.

The RockRam comes as a kit for $895 and includes a 16:1 SuperBox 1, Super Pump and the fittings.

They recommend a PS cooler and bigger PS fluid resevoir, so I added these too.

Worked like a dream on Barret Lake last weekend, but it added so much 'oomph' it buckled my trackbar <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">
Well something had to give and my tierod and draglink are sleeved chrome <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

If I had to do it again, I'd probably go with a Howe system instead.

Call Brown's Auto in Farmington and talk to those guys. They build their own kit and you can probably have one ready and have them stab it all on for you if you go to Farmingtom a few days early.

When I was through there in May, they told me they cna get all the parts for one for less than $400.

Just a thought

Brown's builds some awesome rigs, you may have met them on the ARCA circuit.
