Painted Rock area native here.

Its seems people dont understand the OPEN one weekend amonth deal at painted rock and show up when ever they see fit, there for the landowner as that we shut the it down to the public. If anyone we dont know shows up uninvited and unloads we will prosecute no questions asked.

Peterson's 4wheel & Offroad went there with the Ultimate Adventure group, it looked pretty good. They said it was really challenging, even for the built rigs.

Was in Athens for school for 6 years (no victory lap and burnout in the infield, i got a masters:flipoff2:) and am now home in Cleveland. Used to wheel with buddy's at farms in Canaanville and Coolville....

I heard Wellsville was closed now too? Anyone know for sure? Haven't been there but was looking to go at some point.

Scratch that, read the Wellsville thread and it seems there is argument over whether it is or isn't open...whatever, it'll be next year before I even think about getting there anyway.....

Living here due to school. Where do you guys wheel at around here? Its pretty slim pickings in Ohio

Where is "here" at? most of the wheeling in the state is on the north est side. brom i-77 to the river and from i-70 to the lake.

there is some wheeling in south east and south west ohio, but nothing worth more than a day trip.

nothing but flat fields in the NW part of the state.

nothing. i wish someone knew who owned the old quarry out off of 75 by the reservoir, i would love to go over there and play, looks like a some good climbs in there.
