: Older 14b ff drum ebrake question. redromo 02-23-2009, 02:06 PM I'm putting in an older (1973) 14b FF in my 95 Chevy Suburban. Is there a tech write up or post somewhere that shows how to hook up the ebrake cable? I tried a few searches but everything I could find was for discs and I'm keeping the drums for now anyway. Pull the spring back on the cable, slide the brake bracket over the end of the knob on the cable and PRESTO!!! Its hooked up. redromo 02-24-2009, 10:03 AM Is this the same process even though the cables aren't the same type ( or don't look anything alike anyway ) at the backing plate? Also, the truck has about 10" of lift. | |
