Hey I need some advice on tubing benders. I know almost exactly nothing about them and don't have a ton of cash. What I have is a 25 ton hydraulic press. Does anyone make a set of dies that can be used in a standard press? If not have any of you modified a set to do this? I need to get tools rounded up before winter so that I can get my cage built while work is slow. Thanks for any help!

How much tube do you plan on bending? Do you need your own bender? I priced a new bender this week and the dies ranged from $600 to $900, that is of course for a high end machine.

I just need to bend a cage for my truck and maybe some bumpers. Crap like that. I don't have $1000 bux to spend on this and couldn't justify spending it if I did. Anyway, you think manual bending would be cheaper and easier? How bout that Harbor freight crap? Anybody used these? They are pretty cheap if they would work even for 1 job I would be happy. Anyway thanks for the help!
