Ok, so now that we've got ProRoc out of the way... :D :flipoff2:

Team 419 will be there in the Legends class again.

Goals: Finish!

Smack mode: Time to spank the legends class! :D

I have to give a BIG thank you to Rocky (RockYJ) at Essentially Offroad (http://www.essentiallyoffroad.com) for some major help on my front 3rd member. Without his help, I probably wouldn't be making it back for the finals.

Staying at the Best Western...

Uhhhh... I'll be there. :D

I'm staying at the super secret event organizers lair.

OH!!!! BTW... Saturday night, there is going to be a band at the Starlite. They are stoked to be playing some music for you guys, and are looking forward to the event. In fact, I think some of them are going to be coming out to the event on Saturday before the concert to see ya'll givin' it hell. Tim and I are going to try to break out the 102" T.V. and get some video playing up on the wall while the band is playing.

Syko will be driving my Jeep in the legends w/ somebody else spotting .

I will be spotting for somebody. Buddy if he makes it (wife had a kid last night so that's doubtful, more info on that later), and if not then for Shupee or an unamed legends competitor (who I could name but won't), and if none of them then for syko while his new spotter watches :D.

I like to have plenty of options.

Drop me a line at coolmank@prodigy.net with your itinerary for the weekend (or here if you like). I may be game to ride down with someone if I can split the gas money and windshield time with them.

I do have some axles to pick up on the 7th, but I can push that off until the following weekend. My only other "requirement" is to be back in Milwaukee by the evening of the 10th for school. But I don't forsee that being a problem.

Yes, there are some chicks... you'll find most of them at Buckner's Restaurant.

Camping. Go to the ERoCC Website (http://www.erocc.com/) and go to the Information - Accommodations section of the website. The best bet for camping is Indian Mountain State Park, located just out of downtown Jellico, and about 2 miles from all of the hotels.

Ill be there with my brother. I guess we'll be staying at the campground again unless we both run into some mula:D

CMK, the best/ closest camping is at Rocky Mountain....????

Anyway, just get off the freeway and head down the main drag past town square, keep goin straight and youll see a sign for it on the right, just follow the signs back in there.

Indian Mtn is $16.25/night, but doesn't take reservations (first come first serve). What's up with that?! I'm not about to drive 10 hours from Milwaukee and have faith in that there will be a campsite for me when I arrive at 2a.m.

Mountain Lake is $17.50 and will take reservations.

Indian Mountain! If you are going to be pitching a tent, worst case scenario... you introduce yourself to some of our volunteers that will be staying there (just look for Jeeps that aren't competition ready), and they'll hook you up with a plot of real estate to pup your tent on.

If you are tent camping and plan on arriving late, this is what to do: The gate for Indian Mountain will be closed, but not locked. Just open it up and drive in. Follow the signs to the camping area. As you enter the camping area the lake will be on your left. Go past the shower house and turn right onto the one-way road that circles around the shower house. If you don't see any open spots, turn right when you get back to the main road and drive past the shower house again and go straight to the overflow camping area. There is a large paved parking lot and a large grass covered area to camp in. If that is full, drive back around the semi-circle and look for any open grass area you can find, there is a lot of area there and it is all grass covered and maintained well. You should have no problem finding some place to pitch a tent.

If you have an RV or trailer, go to Indian Mountain and see if there is a spot available. If you can't find a spot, go to the Texaco by the highway. They have some spots available behind the gas station up on the hill. They have electric and water, but no sewer. If you don't like that, you can go 12 miles north on 75 to Williamsburg to the Williamsburg motel. They have a small campground behind the motel with hookups and even a shower house.

If you don't like any of that, then Mountain Lake is also a good call, and so is Cove Lake State Park.

I got air and tools and will be there in the am also. Do I need these 35" mtr's?

Hey Jeff, ToyTek, I got a good long side inner for you, the short side is mangled on the splines. I also have a housing with inners and birfs still inside on the trailer. I gotta confirm the mini and cruiser short sides are different, which opens some options for us.

Mini inners are different than cruiser inners...long and short...so those spares on yer trailer (which i bet you STILL haven't unloaded) are not usable on the Cruiser. :D

No I haven't unloaded it yet. ToyTek has a mini so my offer helps him. What is the length difference on the short sides. If it's withing an inch I'll bet you can slide them into an ARB. I am almost positive I did that when I first swapped to mini disks.

But if not, they will help ToyTek out, and I'll be :)

Just to play it safe, if it's not too much trouble, could you bring them. Shupee told me he's bringing the 36" buckshots, but just to be on the safe side in case he gets swamped with other stuff and forgets we'd have those skins to use.

Actually I'm wondering which would be a better tire to use  With having to air the MTR down less than a buckshot you could have the same static ride height, then it comes down to performance, and you don't see many folks running buckshots :D

If you ordered a hat go here (http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=78671) for info.

Patooyee, the screwed up and didn't send me enough logo only hats, which means I won't have them until next week.. I can ship both to you though.. See the thread.

Thanks Mike I was going to have to find an extra knuckle or two to bring with me in case,THANKS.Kevin talked to Shupe this morning and he reminded the guys at the shop to remind him to bring those tires so you should be in good shape. If youhave a narrow wheel the Buckshots will do fine but if not I would run the MTRs.By the way did you measure your "38"s???

I have 15x10 beadlocks, pretty wide. I measured my 38s to be 37.5" across. They only measure 35.5" tall though, too bad the measure cross sections :( I'll check when I get there just to make sure my caliper wasn't off.

Maybe in your area they don't run buckshots, but I know a BUNCH of people in my area that swear by them on mud and rocks and stuff. Not sure how they will work as a competition tire though. They usually have a pretty hard rubber compound.
