Ive been looking for old XL's just to dink around on on the street. Ive been afraid of the small ones because I would nt think they can get over 55mph.

I would like to find an XL350, 500 or 600.

It will cruise 65-70mph no problem. It does'nt feel real safe on the freeway though, but it's great riding around town and such. I rarely ever ride it faster than 55-60mph though.

i have a friend that has one they are great for hill climing. llooooonnnnnggggggg wheel base. sucks in the tight woods though you really have to push them around. i think they are about the most stable bikes on the planet too.(desert machine)

the ignitions are prone to go out on those. there is a way to adapt on a ktm ignition to fix it. if i recall i think the coil too. if you are seriuos about the bike i can find out the details for you.

Yep! Cannondale! Didn't get the cell phone, that was like an extra grand. I figured $7500 was enough! Fuel injection rocks. Had it up at Bear Valley last weekend and got it up to 63 mph on a gravel road and thats at 7000 ft!

the camo bike is a 1982 Yamaha RD 350 LC (liquid cooled)
they were in Canada only 1981 and 1982, then design update to "RZ" 350 in 1983 forward to about 1993 or so.
i believe you guys (Americans) got one or possibly two years of RZ's (83/84-ish ?) equipped with catalytic converters 'n sh!t.
"Kenny Roberts Edition" yellow and black even California got one!

Jaws bike is mix of Honda cb400,450, RD350, Katana 1100, and gs 750 parts. i later raced it and was able to beat a fair number of other twins, some over 1000cc's.

Currently a 95 CB250. What makes it special? It was free, with 2500miles on it. Cleaned the carbs, polished the paint and it's good as new. Great little commuter bike, if anyone ever took the MSF course it was likely on a duplicate bike. Owned just about everything, from a 88 DT50 to a 76 GL1000. Currently on the prowl for a 75-78 goldwing.

for the '94 do like u did....flywheel weights and lower gearing. should work well tho

Lovin the 360SX!! SOOO much easier than the 620 was. Still a lot of bike for me 'cuz I left dirt for the street about 15yrs ago and then bikes altogether 10 yrs ago after an auto/cycle crash.

Just getting back into it and can't get enough- I actually have dreams about ridin' and think about it all day. Unfortunately I haven't turned a wrench on my disassembled FJ40 since I got the bike.

I just wish it were the EXC so I'd have lighting.

Just got me a 1992 Kawasaki Mojave. Little 250 cc DOHC cam engine. It's fun! My first one, I'm already tryin to figure out how to get a bigger one!! (ONE WITH E-START! KICK STARTING SUX!! My shin still hurts. :rasta: )

Supposedly has Slam Tube exhasut, but I dunno. Gonna be getting an FMF soon. Rejet it for that exhaust. It's been rejetted also, and needs a new filter. Overall, HELL of a buy! :cool:

I ride a 98 Husaberg 600 and love it. mine look a little stimer, but not much. you say your feels like a pig, mine fells like a 125 but has wiked power. I can through it around pritty good.:D
