Sorry for the noob stuff, but I dont have any experience with chevy stuff.

Was looking at using an 80 to 90 blazer, 25 gallon fuel tank (fuel injection version???) in a scout project I have going, as the dimensions will work well for me.

What kind of filler, breather and fuel pump will work in those? Are they a hose inside a hose deal to a vented cap? Is it all the same for the fuel injection versions, or are there variations? Do they have intank fuel pumps even?

thanks

'88 on up should be FI with in-tank fuel pump. These will have non-vented caps. '88 to '94-ish will be TBI (~15psi). Later models will have higher psi in-tank fuel pumps (not TBI anymore). I'm sure the experts will provide more info.

It depends on what motor setup you are running. If you are running tbi in your scout just get a tank from an 87-91. You can just use the in tank pump for your motor and it will work fine.

From 92 on the fullsize blazer tanks are probably a different dimension due to the body style change. I'm not 100% positive on that though. 96+ will have a higher pressure pump in the tank for the mpfi system.

The caps are non vented like said above. These tanks use a supply line and a return line up to the throttle bodies. You will most likely have to use the stock filler location.

hmm, I am planning on using a 351 and mustang efi.

so these tanks have a seperate breather tube then huh? whats the difference for the 4 or 3 tube senders, I found some of those on line.
