I have roller rockers in the 350 Im swapping in. They were there. I wouldnt waste the money otherwise unless you're into mud or sand drags.

Unless your getting them dirt cheap I'd stay away from them. You gotta look at how much $ you spend compared to the amount of HP or Torque you get. You dont get a lot out of the 4.0L and the roller's for them are way expensive.

the only reason i asked was because they were on e bay and were at about 175 till the last ten minutes then jumped to 335

needless to say i didnt buy them but thanks for the opinions

you wont get much of anything. 4.0L's aren't even roller lifter equipped. you might get 2-3 hp from the friction loss.

I put them in a 355 and noticed a big improvement. It idled better and even felt stronger. I am sure they would help you too.

Dude, I hate to see someone waste their money and my conscience would bug me if you took my earlier post as an endorsement for roller rockers instead of the smartass way I intended it...

Seriously, the only benefits you'd gain would come at higher RPMs. Other than that, the noticeable effect on a 4.0 would be zero, nada, zilch. Spend your money somewhere that makes a difference.
