Ok so Im building my 1991 S10 but im putting toy axles in and the W56 trans and matching Tcase, Im buying the adapter from advance adapters. but im not sure if I have a 153th flywheel or the 168th flywheel, for needing to buy the gear reduction starter or could i just use my same starter?

4.3's typically have 168 tooth flywheels. You can use either the "large" SBC starter or the "small" SBC starter in either case though I believe the mounting bolts are longer with the big one. I've never had a problem swapping back and forth between the two on those midnight fixes.

Thanks will see what happens it starts fine know dont see why if i was to put it on the adapter it should still start it.
