A few of us are driving up for the day Sat. March 7th. Anyone want to meet up?

OK, I'm starting to get the impression that nobody like SC Gulches. I've posted up on 3 sites and have had 1 person show interest in going. I've never been, nor has anyone in my group. Does this place suck or did we just pick a bad weekend?

Gulches is Great! Totally worth the trip! you could spend all day out there.

IMO, Gulches is good for a day trip. It's 80 acres but feels bigger. It depends on what your rig can do. I hit most of the hard stuff there and sometimes twice. I'd go again but the beginning of March is too soon for me.

I've never been, but would love to go. PM me when you set a final date. It will all depend on my work schedule, I work a on 2 weekend, off 2 weekend rotation.

I heard it costs like 25 bucks a person :eek: is it really worth it . I have never went either . I think I remember from the site that there's no night wheeling also . What do you guys think ?

It's $20 for you and your rig plus a one time $5 membership and $5 for each person you take. Maybe a little steep, but everyone seems to think it's worth it.

It does cost a good bit but its open, legal wheeling and its close to home for me. Definitely a fun place.

So you all feel it is good for a day? What about 2? Is it worth a 500 mile drive one way?

yes it is a good place 2 go and you can night wheel after you have wheeled a full day..i camped for 2 day we had the hol park to me and my buddys the guy over the park come down saterday night and we did alot of night wheeling.. it is well worth the trip i will be going back in a few weeks..it is better than [calan...] in tenn......
