Looking to replace base model cheep steelies, and in my area there are tons of new take off's from pickups and H3s from rich people upgrading as soon as they leave the lot. Many of the new GM pickup products have 17" rims though, and tire price goes up and tire variety available goes down. I just spotted a set of brand new H3 rims, which seem like they would bolt up....but is the backspacking and offset proper? Are they hubcentric? Id be assuming if just because its a GM they are and would fit good, but could be an expensive mistake. They are 16.7.5.

Im planning on 285/75/16 SS Trxus MTs, so would the H3 rims be good for this on an 04 Silverado 1500 4x4?

What would be a good price to offer for a set of 5?

Thanks!

I cant get a good answer even from shops/dealers Ive touched base with. Say they should fit but hub opening might be bigger so they wont be hubcentric?

Anyone have experience with this or try H3 rims on their Silverado?

bolt pattern same, h-3 has 10 mm more backspace.
if hub opening is larger, a good wheel person could order hub-centering
rings to fit rims. good luck, and post results.
