Just have a question out there for anyone that knows weather or not there is a cheap way to get a Dana 300 to adapt to a Turbo 350 Gm Tranny cheaper than the Advanced adapters way... <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
I see 2 options:
1. Build your own adapter.
2. Buy an adapter from AA, or maybe one of the other companies out there who make adapters...

The adapter part of this is easy, just get yourself a GM factory adapter from a 4wd 700R4. Don't know how this will end up clocking your case though. The hard part is the shaft. You need a 23 spline shaft of the preper length. I don't think there's a junkyard piece out there. You might be able to have a longer one cut down and resplined though. I think it would be lots easier and not much more expensive to just buy it from Advance Adapters or Novak. Unless there's something you really don't like about their adapter.

I would go with the Novak adapters just from experience in dealing with both AA and Novak..
I run a AA bellhousing and a Novak 300 adapter and Eric at Novak is a lot more helpful and friendly then AA every was or will be..
The hardest part as some body said is the output shaft. Maybe call Novak and ask eric if he would sell just the output shaft to you
