it is the main crossmember (ie before the "bed" and after the driver and passenger floor pan...i will post a pic.
the pic is from the back side (oh and in the pic the tub is still on its side.)

SO, IS THAT CROSSMEMBER SEALED UP AND IT IS GOING TO BE PRESSURIZED TO SERVE AS AN AIRTANK? OR DOES IT JUST HAVE TABS WELDED TO IT FOR A TANK? :confused:

notice the three fittings in the last picture...those are for the connections.
yes, it is sealed (hopefully) and will be pressurized to nintey pounds.
the tabs are for mounting the tub to the frame.

RIGHT ON, DID YOU CONSIDER THE CAPACITY OF YOUR CROSSMEMEBER? AT 90 PSI ITS GOING TO RUN DOWN PRETTY QUICK...

hehe we wont even have onboard air, just a chuck to fill it up with at home because the tank is for the AIR HORN baby!!! hehe
so i should be fine.
actually it is rubberized undercoating made by the bondo company, and it is getting moderately hard. oh and we went in this order:

XO Rust Primer (didnt come off my legs/arms for 10 days)
XO Rust black Enamel
And finally the rubberized underspray

if you ever spray a vertical surface with this stuff, you need to hold it like 3 feet from the steel otherwise it will run! bad!!
