The question is, is it worth my wife being pissed for the next month. Right now I have a 80 wt cherokee this is what I would be throwing this into.
this drivetrain is in a 72 dodge powerwagon crew cab. the owner says that the truck runs fine but body is ugly. should I jump on it?

Also does anybody know what gearing came with this model

At a glance it looks like a good deal, but break it down.....

D60 $150
D44 $150
NP435 $100
NP205 $100
360 V8 $250

Average deal if you ask me. Certainly not a bad deal, but worth pissing off the wife?

the one benefit is the fact that you don't need aftermarket adapters. my little lady is always a little pissed. just convince of how big of a deal it is.

I say piss her off! Are you going to get the whole truck or just parts? If you are getting just the parts have him throw in the Drive shafts. If you are going to get the whole truck, just tell her you can get most of that back by selling off the rest of the truck.

get it, if she gets that pissed just divorce her, you 2 don't need each other if she gets pissed over this. R U spending the rent $$ or something?

how much do you have to put into those parts to make them road worthy? is the clutch good? does it need brake shoes(that axle has front drums)? do you want to go to discs? all this stuff adds up quick. the steering has to be swapped to crossover and thats a couple $$$. things to think about. that what my wife gets ticked about is the small parts bills that are more than the big parts. otherwise this is a good deal. i would buy it if i needed drivetrain stuff.
