Is there enough metal on the axle to re-drill the rear axles out to a 5 x 5.5 pattern??? Or do I just buy aftermarket shafts??? (the millwork will be free)

I dont see why you wouldnt have enough space on the flange. The Alloy USA I have in my TJ are set for both.

Myself Id just buy some better quality aftermarket shafts to start if you have the money. Or you could get some spacers. I have a pair of spacers that are 5x4.5 to 5x5.5 dont know the brand, this would may throw your front width off though.
