I am running bare bones wiring on a 1980 toyota pu buggy. How much power, volts, amps, resitance am I supposed to run to the coil, the ignitor, and the alternator? I am running a wire directly from the battery to the alternator. I am running a power wire from the battery to the on/off switch. Running a wire from the on/off switch to the starter button. Running an ignition resistor wire from the on/off switch. From the ignition resistor wire I am running power to the coil,ignitor. Do I need to run a 15 amp fuse and/or another resistor off the power switch, to avoid frying the coil and or ignitor? Running wire from starter button to the starter. Also running wire from the on/off switch to the fuel on/off solenoid. Please help.
