tried the snort board, but its down.....


Have a passenger side chevy knuckle that needs to be smoothed and tapped. Want to goto a place that has done these things before, and doesnt charge up the arse. Any recomendations? in seattle right now, but can travel any where from bellingham to salem, OR. thanks

SMOOTHED?? Don't have it machiened, just put a damn arm on it and run it, why remove more material than needed??

Or you can contact Ben W, moderator of the IH board. He does them, does a good job, and is in expencive. He's in Yakima, but UPS is cheap.

He does it in his free time, so I don't know what his lead time or schedual is right now....

It doesn't take but 10 min more to mill it flat while it's on the mill for the drill/tap. I can do it for you. Contact Ben W, he is my go between.
