OK, i woudl ask this in the dodge talk, but in here, everyone seems to know their stuff well, and well, there are more people in here, and i know i have a carb that was also put on IHC's. I am now on my second time rebuilding this carb, and i really like the thing, very easy to work with, but i wanted some tips and info

1'st off, do i need a power discharge needle? It seems this is a rebuilt carb and someone fergot to put the needle back in the carb, so i have just been running without one, but would it help for me to toss one in there?

2) are there any tips on tuning it? It is on a chrysler 360. SHoudl i just turn the jets all the way in, then turn them out 2 turns and see how it runs, and adjust from there?

3) The power valve piston is bent, and was bent back into place, so it is almost straight, but it is sticky moving up and down. Plus the spring is all worn out. I tried to find a whole new assembily, but no luck. Any idea where to buy a new one? I repaced the spring with a 020 spring (what the package said) which is MUCH stiffer. Now it pops up fine, but i am afraid it is way too stiff. Will i have any problems with it?

I think that is everything for right now, but if there is any other random info into the carb, or links, or places that have lots of parts for them, please let me know.

Thanks for the help.

Hey T1H5_TA3... Is your username your license plate number? Cuz it sure is funny lookin' in a rear view mirror:flipoff2:

Seriously though... Why do you reccomend the 2300 over the 2210/45? I've got an older 2210 on my '78.. and have been considering a carb swap as a way to get some more power out of it... but have been reluctant to spend the $$, since the 2210 does seem to work well for the most part, and I'm not sure how much benefit I'd gain from a different carb.
