98 durango driverside caliper mounting bolts are stripped. Ordered a knuckle from auto parts box said 99 durango. When i put the new knuckle on the lower ball joint hole was way to big, everything else was the same. I was wondering what year knuckles directly cross with the 98? Went to the parts store and compared ball joints for the 99 and 98 durango and they are the same, compared the 2000 lower ball joint to the 98 and it was larger than the 98 ball joint. I need to know if the 98 knuckle is the only knuckle that can be installed.

Call a helpful dealer and ask them. I don't have any catalogs newer than '96, so I can't help but a dealer can look up the Mopar part number and tell you what year models it applies to.
