As some of you might know my dumbass didnt set the steering stops right on my sas project, so the little cap got pushed out by the piston in the box by overturning it. So everything looks fine except the cap.. I went to PNP today and found two caps exactely like it, same number stamped on them and everything (5689010, 3" diameter).. so how do I pop that fawker out, I noticed there was a little retainer type thing in there but I was having a hell of a time getting it out. Didnt really have all my tools since I had to ride my SV there so had to go home unsuccesful. I wann go back and get the caps but what tools do I need and is there some kind of trick?

If this is a retarded question, which it may well be, I dont care.. just help me please :)

Thanks.

on the end of the Box there is a small hole for punch or small drift
tap on it inward lightly and this pushes the snap ring out ward enough to get Needle nose pliars in and remove or small screwdrivers

when you do this then turn the box left and right from the steering shaft side it will push out the cap during piston contact

any more ?'s
