Pretty sure this hasn't been posted. Just another interresting site that those aussies have that we don't. Someone might be able to use it. Have a friend here in dallas about to drop a LT-1 in a rangie in about three weeks with their adapters. Should be cool.

Yeh Mark's is big here in OZ but he is not the only manufacturer
of engine swap kits.

http://www.rodshop.com.au/

And there is another but i can't find there werbsite {Dellow Engineering}
They use custom replacement bell housing instead of adaptor plates.

My Chev Rangie uses a Rodshop kit to fit 350 smallblock into the Rangie engine bay.

Interesting stuff. I've heard of them before. I am about 1-2 years away from an engine and tranny rebuild. Maybe I need to do some math and see if the a conversion to a Chevy or something else would be beneficial. I really only want about 240 HP out of my next engine and this could be attained with a LR 4.6L and minor performance tuning. Hmmmm.

A standard 350 puts out around 260 hp and performs very well in a Rangie.

My next Chevy will be a 400 or 383 that will be built for a high torque output...{aprox 500 - 600 lb/foot }
To run 37 or 38" tyres without the need for a 4.7 diff ratio.

speaking of swaps, i would love to entertain the possibility of dropping in a 4.6L or 5.4L modular ford motor - anyone done this with the modular block?

i estimate another 12-14 months on my current engine. will know more after having a gander at the main bearings sometime next month, and possibly dropping in a new set of lifters . . . mine are getting kind of noisy.

cheers,
