new to the TJ world, just bought an 06 rubicon for my DD/ mild trail rides, and have a couple questions
1. i havea set(2) of coil spacers, are they interchangable front to rear, they were given to me, just wanna make sure i have and order the right ones?
2.every time i fill up, gas overflows before the pump stops. heard a few friends say it happened to them, is it the filler neck design or a problem i should look at since its still under warranty for a few more months.
you jeep guys can flame away, ive had 2 cherokees and a cj7, but im just gettin into newer jeeps :flipoff2:

1. The coils spacers are the same front and rear.
2. I would have the factory check it, seeing how it is under warranty.
Also this is Non Hardcore Flaming not allowed :flipoff2:

The overflowing gas thing was introduced to the YJ line and has carried on thru today. Only thing I have found is to pay attention, no matter how hot she is while pumping the Vette.:D

I have problems with my gas gauge, when I fill it completely up the gauge only reads half a tank. So if your gauge says your out of gas maybe you still have half a tank like me and you are full a lot sooner than you think you should be causing you to keep pumping when there is nowhere for the gas to go.

It's not overflowing, the flow rate from the pump is higher than the rate that the gas is flowing into the tank through the filler neck. I had that happen because the filler tube got kinked when I dropped the skid to clean it out then reinstalled it. For some reason the tank isn't strapped to the body like I think it should be. Anyway...pull the fill nozzle out about a 1/4 way and keep an eye on it. I doubt yours is kinked but the filler tube for the TJs is a poor design anyway.
I also have the faulty fuel level sensor that shows 1/4 tank less than what I have. I drove 50 miles with it on E with a 5 gallon spare can in the back just in case...made it all the way back to town from the trail and had gas to spare.

i kinda figured about the filler neck design as it looks to have a few bends that arent very flow friendly. gonna order a set of spacers for a lil more aggresive look.
i spend alot of time in the chevy forum, if i would of asked these questions there, it would of been brutal. (mainly i was just drunk last night and really didnt feel like searchin since the screen wasnt all that clear to begin with:D)

spacers are a good thing to have if you're going to stick with the coils...they allow you the lift and clearance of a lift spring but the spring rate of a smaller spring without the bowing that you get with most springs 6" or longer with a decent rate.
