NJXOR @ NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY NEW EGYPT NJ 2009!!!!

With a month away from the racing season starting there has been quite a few people in the area who have volunteered to help make this First season of the NJXOR a success. There have been a lot of people who have been waiting for something this exciting come to a place so close to home. For the first time in NJ racing history has a such Extreme Sport come to this state.

With little land here in NJ there is always room for some kind of motor sport race. In early Sept 2008 we had contacted some local area tracks and nothing turned up until we had talked to New Egypt Speedway in New Egypt NJ. When we had contacted the management and owners of the track they couldn’t say NO.

From there we had gone over a lot of ideas and everyone’s plans. We had decided to have a course on a 1/2 mile oval wit the being about ¾ mile running area after all the turns and obstacles. For the first like said before there has never been such and extreme race like this held in NJ. We are hoping for some new comers to enter this sport and make the Off-Road community a better place.

Working with NJ Racing Commission was the toughest times throughout planning this event around all the racing rules here in NJ. But with all the battling back and forth we had come to a decision with the rules and go from there.

After advertising this event at the 24th Len Sammons Motorsports show in Atlantic City I want to first thank Lou Levy (BRONCOLOU) and Doug Bigelow(BIGELOW MOTORSPORTS) for taking there time out of there busy schedule to help promote the new upcoming sport in NJ. Also want to throw out a special thanks to New Egypt Speedway for bringing this Off-Road Racing to the next level, Clayton Off-Road, OK 4WD, River Raider Off-Road, NJJA, Armenti Tax and Financial Services, PRP Racing Products, and last but not least by far Dean and Matt from 4lowdigital.com for event coverage and photos, for all the people who drove hours to come and check it out and talk to us, and also all the time and patience for the whole deal.

With our first event being in April there is a lot more to come out. Working on other plans for the future. Also to pronounce that our July 11th show will be under the lights!!!!! This will be exciting to racers, fans and also promoters to see something this extreme with the lights glowing throughout the course. Something different and unique.

Once again I want to thank all who is involved and helped to make this 2009 season happen.
