The easy way is to have someone else do it :D

Thes Toyota factory manual recommends using a rope between the frame rails to lower the tranny.

man you blokes do it the hard way, i just lower the unit on my chest and "wiggle" out from under the rig, then set it on the ground, instalation is the opposite. i wont try this method with a donk mind you, but for trannies and cases it works well.

FORKLIFT

hook a jig up and away she goes, no more than a 3 hour job to change a clutch

helps to have no top though ;)

oh and it helps too have a forklift too ;)
