After looking at the pictures people are noticing all kinds of amazing little details that they missed while watching it live. It's pretty amazing how you can be so focussed on what's in front of you that you don't really see it.

Case in point. In this photo you can clearly see Chris Ridgeway's pegleg but at the time I took it, standing five feet away and having just finished talking to him I didn't even realize who it was. It was only after looking at the picture again a few minutes ago that I noticed his prominent prosthetic appendage. :homer:

I originally only saw Gena in this pic. Now that I take a second look some smiling stalker dude is in the background :flipoff2:

Actually, this picture is very revealing. You see, Derek was supposed to drive after the first pit stop. My strategy was to tell Derek to get under the buggy and check out a vibration while I tried to (secretly) roll the left front tire over his foot so he couldn't drive.


It all would have worked perfectly until you showed up and foiled my plans.
