i won't go on for hours- like i COULD about all the 'famous' and 'infamous'- folks that i had the reoccuring PLEASURE of remeeting-Dustin/Becca, Lance/Camo/Jessie/Ian---

i WILL have to give a special thanks to Jeff/Dave for letting me weasle in to being able to 'start' most of my 'Bender' sons--- and Ken Mercer in the #770 !!

but MOST--- all the folks that went out of their way to say "hello" and make their presence known ! coast to coast, border to border and BEYOND !!

the peoples from the 'least' coast--- YOU DONE GOOD !!!

but a special thought--- i got the chance to meet a lot of the moms/dads of some of the racers and notables !!-- maybe you didn't happen to see the special gleem in their eyes as they stood in back of their offspring-- proud to be there and able to share in the accomplishments of their kids !!!!

Adams' Dad/ Jeffs' Mom/Shannons' Dad---- and so many more---

I got to wave the green flag for 'my' car #770--- and wave the checkered for the return of #770---

ALL of you folks--- those that were there and those that were there in spirit---you gave an ole man the happiest weekend in his long life.

THANK YOU ALL-

Krusty

The last thing I expected to see at the start line was Krusty with the green flag. It did make me calmer and more confident that a trusted brother was there with Mike and I at the peak of excitement. THANKS KRUSTY!

and thanks to the Bender girls for reminding us when we came through camp half way through the race that we weren't alone and we had a huge support team.

Krusty, you are one of my most favorite people to talk to, even if i only get to do it for a few mins at a time.

I thought that was awsome that you were able to start you bender boys for the race and finish your car at the end.

when you were telling me about it before the race, you sounded like a proud papa... and rightfully so.
