For those that were there after the race and contributed to the FOJV fund I want to say thank you for kicking into the effort. Every dollar will help keep that amazing place open to the public.

we raised $1760 so far :smokin:

Plus

BFG is providing a set of tires

Allied wheel is providing a set of rims.

Look for detail soon on how we will use these to raise additional funds.

Thank you to Camo, Easy Rick and everyone out there supporting the Friends of Johnson Valley. I can't tell you how many people came up to us during the week voicing their concerns for the area. After another successful and epic event, we have to keep the Hammers open for the public to enjoy!:)

Thanks again,

Jim

Hey Camo I totally forgot to make my donation while we were there. And I am sure others want to know the same thing. Where can I make a donation now?

Far be it from me to reach into the King's pocket, but 10% would be an even grand :D

Thanks to Camo, BF Goodrich, Allied Wheel Jason and everyone else for the donations.

I know that Rick is working on the IRS stuff so that we will be able to accept donations through paypal or other means. Hopefully we will get through the red tape soon.

FOJV activities have slowed for the moment with the closing of the comment period for the Marine DEIS, but we will be working on some stuff to bug your Congressman with next. :mr-t:

Thanks again everyone,

Donald
FOJV Secretary

If you can't afford an extra $20 on a desert trip than you plan your budget way better than me. The way I looked at it was that I can be +/- $20 depending on what gas station I pull into on the way home. Might as well give on the lake bed and search a little better for the cheep gas.
