No one knows? Dumb Question maybe?.... When I purchased my Match Target 10 years or so ago I was told by the salesman that there were changes made to the receiver comply with the NJ state law assault weapons ban. I think that other than no flash suppressor or bayonnet lug he was full of crap. Now I got to thinking I'd like to replace my competition Hbar upper with a carbine upper but if fitment and functionallity is gonna be an issue (using bushmaster or dpms etc.) I thought someone here might be able to help me out or at least tell me to :flipoff2:.

Thanks
Dave

It can be done. Not sure if it applies to all Colts or not, but some have a larger diameter pivot pin and will require an adapter.

I don't know anything about the company in the link, but that was the first thing that popped up on google.

Your question in the op wasn't well formed and made no sense to me.

This extended info helps.

At one time Colt used different pivot pins on their lowers. Measure the diameter of the front pin. if its .25" then you can use any other upper. If its larger then you need a conversion pin as mentioned above.

Thanks for the info. Sorry I was vague in my first post.
