Is it necessary to use the snap ring clips on these? With my 30 spline stubs the clips had some room between it and the locking hub mechanism. Now, with the 35 spline outers its real close and the hub wants to hang up. I am sure that if it is necessary I'm using the wrong clip. Any help or advise appreciated. Even a part# or correct size clip would help also..

the proper ring to use is a ROL-LOC ring its a smaller version of the one used to hold in the gear body and in the warn hub kit it comes with both the 30 spline outer snap ring and the 35 spline ROL -LOC clip
